Dear Arlington Residents,

I am excited to be running for school board again this spring.  Welcome to my campaign.  It is here that you will find information About Emma for School Board, including how you can become involved as a volunteer or contributor.

I have decided to seek re-election in order to continue my passionate commitment to making Arlington Public Schools the very best for all students and their families. 

In my first term, my focus was to work collaboratively with fellow board members and staff to make significant progress in three key areas: academic achievement, family and community involvement, and improved facilities and fiscal accountability.  In order to read more about our accomplishments in these areas, go to About Emma section of this site.  You will also find my biography, my priorities, and a listing of my supporters, as well.

In my next term, I will continue these efforts.  My top priority is to ensure that all students are prepared to enter college and to succeed in the global, technology-driven workplace, emphasizing foreign language proficiency, multi-cultural understanding and interpersonal skills.  Additionally, it is critical that we continue to strengthen our student-centered schools and to provide sustainable facilities that bring our students and community together.
